For AI agents
llms.txt and MCP
Point Claude, Cursor, or any agent at your docs.
Every public doc space has three URLs built for AI tools. They serve published pages only, never drafts.
| URL | What it is |
|---|---|
/<doc-space>/llms.txt | An index of every page, per llmstxt.org |
/<doc-space>/llms-full.txt | Every page as one Markdown file |
/<doc-space>/mcp | A read-only MCP server |
The overview of each doc space lists its own URLs, ready to copy.
MCP#
The MCP server speaks streamable HTTP and needs no key. It has three tools:
list_pages: every page, with its slug, section and URLsearch_docs: the same full-text search readers useread_page: one page as Markdown, by its slug
Add this site to Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http docspell https://docspell.dev/docspell/mcpOr to Cursor, in .cursor/mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"docspell": { "url": "https://docspell.dev/docspell/mcp" }
}
}Then ask your agent something like "how do I publish a draft?" and it'll search these docs for the answer.
