Acceptable Use Policy
DocSpell is for documentation. Anything you publish is public on the internet under our domain or yours, so we need a few ground rules. They're part of the Terms of Service.
Don't publish
- Anything illegal, or that promotes illegal activity.
- Malware, phishing pages, or anything built to trick people into handing over passwords, payment details or personal data.
- Content you don't have the right to share, like someone else's copyrighted docs or code, or leaked secrets and credentials.
- Other people's personal information without their permission.
- Harassment, hate, threats, or content that exploits or harms children.
- Spam, or pages that exist only to game search rankings.
Don't abuse the service
- Don't try to get around plan limits, for example by creating accounts to reset AI generation quotas.
- Don't probe, scan or attack DocSpell or other customers' doc spaces, or try to access what isn't yours.
- Don't overload the service with automated traffic, or use it to host files unrelated to your documentation.
- Don't impersonate another person, company or DocSpell itself.
What happens if something breaks these rules
We may take down the content, limit features, or suspend or close the account, depending on how serious it is. When it's reasonable we'll contact you first and give you a chance to fix it. For anything illegal or dangerous, we act first.
